Scent is subjective. A fragrance we score eight out of ten may smell wrong on your skin, and a bottle we found weak may last all day on someone else. Treat our scores as an informed starting point, not a verdict.

Performance results

Longevity and projection figures come from our own wear tests in ordinary conditions. Skin type, hydration, weather, clothing and even diet change results. Our calculators produce estimates, not guarantees.

Health and skin

Fragrance can irritate sensitive skin and some ingredients are common allergens. Patch test new products, read the ingredient list on the box, and speak to a doctor or dermatologist if you have a reaction. Nothing here replaces medical advice.

Prices shown are typical retail figures at the time of writing and are usually quoted in pounds sterling. Retailers change prices frequently and stock varies by country.

Authenticity

Counterfeit perfume is widespread online. We test bottles bought from authorised retailers or reputable decanters. If you buy from a marketplace seller, check batch codes and packaging carefully.
